Chia seeds come from the plant Salvia hispanica L., an herb that thrives in tropical and subtropical environments and has been cultivated in Latin America for many hundreds of years. The Aztecs already considered chia to be one of their most significant staple crops, on par with corn and beans, and its historical value is still evident today. Chia remains one of the region's most prized raw materials, known for its clean taste, high nutritional content, and versatility in both traditional and modern cooking. Chia seeds have a naturally rich nutritional profile that makes them an attractive choice for anyone looking to enrich their diet. They contain high-quality protein, a wide spectrum of essential minerals such as phosphorus, calcium, potassium, magnesium, iron, zinc, and copper, as well as vitamins B1, B2, and B3. The seeds are also rich in antioxidants and essential fatty acids, especially omega-3 and omega-6, giving them a unique balance of energy and nutrition. Since chia is completely gluten-free, it is a natural alternative for people with celiac disease or those who choose to avoid gluten for other reasons. Research shows that chia seeds can support the body's metabolism, especially thanks to their high content of omega-3 and omega-6. The combination of fiber, protein, and healthy fats makes chia an excellent addition to both everyday meals and functional recipes. When mixed with liquid, the seeds swell and get a soft, pleasant consistency, making them perfect in smoothies, baked goods, puddings, or as a topping for breakfast bowls.

At PACHAMAMA, we work with a global supply chain that ensures our products are transported safely, efficiently, and traceably — from origin to final destination.
Delivery Process
As soon as an order has been placed, the processing of the order begins. The products are first transported to the port of Arica, Chile, where they are loaded for sea transport. The goods are then shipped to the port closest to the delivery address the customer has specified in their inquiry.
Once the goods have arrived at the destination port, transport continues by land (truck) all the way to the specified delivery address. This logistics solution enables us to deliver PACHAMAMA's products to customers worldwide.

As our deliveries are international, shipping times and costs may vary depending on the destination, local customs processes, and logistical conditions. Our goal at PACHAMAMA, however, is for products to reach the customer within approximately 30 days from when the goods leave the port of Arica, Chile.
Please note that delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control, such as weather conditions, customs handling, or local transport conditions.
